Solid Stay on the Road

I was greeted warmly upon arrival. The Standard Twin Room was adequate. I found a wide selection of hot items at breakfast. Staff immediately helped when I needed help with the smart TV in the room. The breakfast room was quite spacious.
I had to walk a long way to my room from reception, and the key stopped working the second day so I had to go back to reception to fix it.

The gym provided older equipment, like dumbbells, but it had a lot of options. There also was a pool that was open some hours, however, it was under maintenance. Generally, I saw that the structure was adequate to the price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the restaurant. I appreciate the midday check out. I think the company needs more training in customer service. Every person on staff needs to understand the issues that are important for the guests.

Buses were directly opposite the hotel. Park and ride services were nearby. The hotel location was very convenient for travel. I also think the location is an excellent starting point for going to Wales or Liverpool.

I found the pool to be warm, it was a great feature. The bathroom impressed me, it felt luxurious. A fridge in our room was very handy. Breakfast included warm croissants and a good selection.

An Acceptable Stay With Some Issues

The breakfast had a good selection of food.
The room was quite a trek from reception, which became tiring after a long day. I also noticed a leak around the window with mould. It was not pleasant. The pool had a swimming lesson occupying most of it, so it was hard to swim freely.
